YOUTH AND CHILDREN’S MINISTRY

The ministry is responsible for developing opportunities for youth leadership training and co-operate with other Christian churches and organisations on youth affairs, and also producing literature for training, youth ministry and children’s work. Organisations under this ministry include: MYD, BCU, GCU, YA and Sunday School.

Methodist Young Disciples (MYD)

Spreading the gospel and making the young people disciples of Christ.

Boys Christian Union (BCU)

To teach and educate boys to be trustees of the prosperity of the church living under the discipline and instruction of the Lord for effective evangelism of the world.

Girls Christian Union (GCU)

Seeing the girl child being transformed and self-empowered is truly one of the deepest joys of this ministry.

Sunday School

Classes usually precede a Sunday church service and are used to provide Christian education especially to children.

Young Adults (YA)

Plan programmes for the development of a Christian character amongst the young Adults.
