When the heart is overwhelmed

Psalms 23:4

[4]Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

The Lord is my comfort

In the belly of the fish for 3 days, Jonah only had prayer to depend on. Closed in without another soul in sight, steeped in darkness and without an idea what his end was going to be. There are times when darkness surrounds us and we have no idea what the end of the matter will be. May prayer comfort us. May our hearts rise up and reach to the heavens.

Daniel was in the lion’s den, left with just lion’s for company. I wonder what was going through his mind as he fell into the pit? Some of our hard moments are swift and yet they feel like eternity. As we seem to fall endlessly without an idea what awaits us at the bottom. God is with us and we must continue to reinforce the link which we have with him such that we are strengthened when we cry out to Him.

I can imagine that Daniel spent the rest of the night in praise and worship because of the divine intervention God had shown to him. The lions did not harm him at all. May the lion of Judah roar against all evil lions set out to attack us. It is through prayer, that we can let our requests known to God. It is through prayer that we can connect to God through faith. The power that is in prayer connects us to God, no matter how far we may seem to think we are and no matter how deep our sorrows are. Prayer will instantly bring God’s attention to us.

Psalms 61:1-2

[1] Hear my cry, O God; Attend to my prayer.[2] From the end of the earth I will cry to You, When my heart is overwhelmed; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.

Prayer Point

When my heart is overwhelmed and my sorrow is deep, be my rock oh Lord. Cover me in times of deep despair and I will sing your praises on the day of my rescue. Amen.

The lie and the truth are very close to each other. But actually two absolutely different divergent camps and their final destination are completely different.

Lie preachers are known for their theory of sanctification, which according to them is a systematic remission of sin and their theory about the sinful nature, that every human being will still sin and remain in sin and that your nature is sinful.

    Can this really be true?
    No, never!
God, who is perfect, cleanses the soul from all sin once true repentance takes place. Heb 10

That the young man in Christ will still stumble is like that, but he does not commit his conscious sins again. As the young man in Christ grows to maturity, he no longer stumbles, for knowledge of God now preserves him.

If man then has a sinful nature, then sin must bring peace to the soul. But we see the opposite, where there is sin, there is tension, fear, disease, sadness, pain, misery, death. Then we see the consequence of sin, is eternal death.

God made your nature right. Through the fall, your nature did not change, but the ability to fulfill righteousness was lost.
The day man was reconciled to God, that ability to fulfill righteousness returned. So that God’s Word will be fulfilled: If the Son has set you free, you will be truly free.

After God has cleansed your heart, He now gives you the ability to fulfill righteousness. – Ezekiel 36: 24-27

And the product of righteousness is peace, rest, and security. – Isa 32: 17-18

What proof that we do not have a sinful nature!

A false teacher preaches peace peace! While the scripture exhorts: The sword already reaches to the soul because of their sin and the way of peace they do not know.

Through their sin and iniquity, the earth was permeated with violence, murder, lies, hatred, envy, adultery, fornication, and so on.

A false prophet proclaims grace, grace! My brother, God loves you just as you are.
What a lie, because the Church feels so satisfied Christian.
I do not have to let go of my sins and idols, I will also go to heaven.

What a disillusionment awaits there for Christianity!
They stand naked and deplorable before God with their sins and idolatry.

Find a teacher who preaches the remission of sins, then you will find a true teacher and servant of God.

Find a pastor who preaches the cross message of Jesus Christ and who preaches the way of life of Christ and His apostles, and presents it as the only way to eternal life, then you will find a true prophet of God.

    Greetings!
